Ads moving from FB to trains?

Strange things are happening.

On the one hand, Facebook is said to make a list of 10,000 pages deemed suitable for adverts and only add others after inspecting them, having removed all adverts from the rest. As if anybody wanted adverts on their pages. It’s easy now: just post something controversial every now and then and Bob’s your uncle. But what will this do to Facebook’s ledgers?

On the other hand, there is a proposal to provide German trains with windows which would talk adverts to people leaning against them. As if anybody wanted to be unable to have a nap in a train. The agency behind this acknowledged that “some people don’t like advertising in general”. Is there anybody who generally does like it, except those for whom it means income?
