Last week, Scottish and Southern Energy finally released a map of what the controversial pylon line from Beauly to Denny should look like – or rather, what it should mean in terms of changes to the current state.

I wanted to post this earlier, but then it occurred to me to talk the Caledonian Mercury itself first. Anyway, the map looks like this:
Update: in September, according to the BBC, ‘Scottish Power has ruled out proposals to bury part of the controversial new Beauly to Denny power line underground’.
